Daniella Monet Returns As Trina Vega In Victorious Spin Off Hollywood Arts Teaser

Daniella Monet returns as Trina Vega in Hollywood Arts, the Victorious spin off where she becomes a substitute teacher at her former school.

Trina Vega is returning to Hollywood Arts, but this time she will be on the other side of the classroom. Netflix has released the first teaser and photos for Hollywood Arts, the upcoming spin off of the popular Nickelodeon series Victorious. Daniella Monet is back as Trina Vega, while two other familiar faces from the original show also return.

In Hollywood Arts, Trina goes back to her former high school as a substitute teacher. However, she is not exactly the most qualified person for the job. The story follows her as she deals with a new group of talented students while trying to find her own place as a teacher.

The teaser also confirms the return of Yvette Nicole Brown as Principal Helen and Eric Lange as Mr Sikowitz, the original show’s much loved improv teacher. Their appearances give the new series a direct connection to Victorious while the story focuses mainly on a younger generation.

Trina’s new role is expected to create plenty of situations as she struggles to manage students who are ambitious, creative and determined to succeed. Although she often clashes with them, she also finds ways to inspire the students as they try to understand their talents and decide what they want to do with their lives.

The new cast includes Alyssa Miles, Erika Swayze, Emily Liu Wang, Peyton Jackson and Martin Kamm. They will play the new students at Hollywood Arts, with the series exploring their experiences at the performing arts school.

For Daniella Monet, the project marks her return to the character that she played in the original Victorious. The new series will show what happened to Trina after her time as a student and place her back in the environment where her story originally began.

Hollywood Arts is scheduled to premiere on Netflix on October 15. The series was initially planned for Nickelodeon before being moved to Netflix.

The Victorious spin off is reportedly still expected to receive a “second window” release on Nickelodeon and Paramount+ at a later date.

The new series therefore brings back some familiar characters while introducing a completely new group of students and stories at Hollywood Arts.
