As Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker marked son Rocky’s first birthday this week, Kris Jenner amassed major grandma points with an inspired gift. Her grandson got a special delivery in the form of an OG ‘Rocky’ letter from Sylvester Stallone himself.
Travis Barker finally shared how he felt in an Instagram with Rocky’s famous dad thanking him for the letter about his son Rocky’s birthday. On November 4, he posted a photo of the letter that he had framed on social media. No wonder Kris is such a beloved grandmother, as she gifted the toddler a wonderful present.
Here is the first paragraph of Stallone’s letter to the toddler: “Dear Rocky, My Name is Rocky also. Your name is glorified and is attached to excellent things.”
It went on to give the toddler guidance in life for when they are all grown up. The 78-year-old actor went on to add: ‘Life throws a lot of challenges at you—you are going to need to be committed and resolute! You have to always remember that you should not quit on your dreams. Never! But most importantly, you always put family, friends, and loyalty ahead of fame, and that is a spice of life!”
He ended the missive, “Keep punching, Sly ‘Rocky’ Stallone.” The letter was so impressive to Barker that he posted the on Instagram stories thanking Jenner, and his mother-in-law, calling the letter of one of the best gifts ever.
