Nayanthara Introduces Her Role Kumudha
Nayanthara, playing the role of Kumudha, launched her character in a teaser released on Instagram. In the video, Kumudha is being seen struggling to conceive and hoping against hope for a child, undergoing one of her biggest personal battles. Nayanthara described the teaser saying, “For this teacher, failure isn’t an option. Kumudha is about to face her most challenging TEST,” adding to the anticipation for release. The movie will be released in Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada, and Hindi on Netflix.

Siddharth’s Character Arjun Teased in New Promo
Prior to the release, a character promo for Siddharth’s Arjun was released. In the promo, Siddharth is dressed in cricket gear, being questioned by selectors while looking back at his past. International cricketer R. Ashwin, who released the promo, complimented Siddarth’s performance, pointing to his technical grasp and passionate attachment to the game. Ashwin expressed his enthusiasm, tweeting, “Watching @worldofsiddharth in ‘Test’ feels like watching a cricketer who has spent years in the game.”

Test is a first-of-its-kind collaboration between powerhouse actors Nayanthara, R Madhavan, and Siddharth. Directed by S. Sashikanth on his directorial debut, the film is produced by YNOT Studios, which has a reputation for churning out fearless and gripping stories.
