Netflix has announced that its upcoming military drama Operation Safed Sagar will premiere worldwide on August 7. The series is inspired by one of the Indian Air Force’s most challenging wartime missions during the 1999 Kargil War. It tells the story of Operation Safed Sagar, the air campaign carried out by the Indian Air Force, and focuses on the role played by the Golden Arrows Squadron during the conflict.
Rather than only showing the battles, the series looks at the people who took part in the mission. It follows the lives of the officers and personnel who faced difficult situations while carrying out their duties.
