Louis Tomlinson Opens Up About One Direction’s “Cold” Split and Liam’s Push for a Reunion

0

Back in a recent Diary of a CEO podcast and interviews with Variety, Louis Tomlinson dropped some raw reflections about the final days of One Direction and what’s changed since Liam Payne’s death. What he shared isn’t just nostalgia, it’s a look at the pain, hope, and complicated love tied to a band that meant so much to millions.

Louis described that day when the band decided to go on “hiatus” as one of the coldest moments he’s ever felt. Only the members were there, with no representatives in the room, and he said the atmosphere was hollow. He said he’s never felt energy like that in a room before.

He admitted he was naive then, wanting a timeline, wanting clarity. But he says nobody really got that answer. In hindsight, he believes that someone in the group already sensed how things would end, and none of them had the courage to call it.

One part that really hit hearts: Louis said that, in his view, no one campaigned more for a One Direction comeback than Liam Payne. Before Liam’s death, the idea of reuniting was something he pushed for. But now Louis says he’s not sure it’d be right to do it without him. That loss changed everything.

Louis doesn’t close the door entirely. He says “never say never,” and floated the idea that maybe decades later, like a “25 years time, do a big show” kind of deal. But now, with Liam gone, it would feel different, even incomplete.

He also opened up about Liam’s death recently, calling it “impossibly difficult.” Louis said losing a friend for the first time hit him in a way losing his mother or sister never did. He’s still processing what it means to lose someone who was so close.

Louis is working on new music and a Netflix project with Zayn Malik, but he’s also carrying the weight of that band’s history. For fans, his honesty might feel like a call to let go of expectations, to believe their comeback could be a thing, we also need to understand that grief and reality also play parts.

Kris Jenner’s Platinum Blonde Reveal Has Fans Stunned: Facelift Buzz around

Kris Jenner surprised just about everyone this week by debuting a stunning platinum blonde bob, a sharp turn from her long-known jet black pixie look. The transformation was shared via Instagram, with hairstylist Chris Appleton peeling back the process in a playful reveal video set to Sabrina Carpenter’s “When Did You Get Hot?”.

Fans erupted in the comments. Some mistook her for Kim, others praised her youthful glow. One person said, “She found the fountain of youth and told no one.” Another joked, “At first glance, I thought it’s Kim.”

Beyond the haircut, many are crediting the dramatic change to her recent facelift refresh. In an interview with Vogue Arabia, Kris openly talked about the decision, saying she first had a facelift about 15 years ago and revisited it because she wanted to look like the best version of herself.    People and others have reported that she worked with plastic surgeon Dr. Steven Levine for her aesthetic work.

Her longtime stylist, Appleton, also chimed in. At a Ralph Lauren Fragrances event, he called himself “obsessed” with Kris’s beauty resurgence. He praised her confidence, her playfulness with style, and her willingness to reinvent over time, “the queen of doing that right now,” he said.

Not everyone’s buying it. A board-certified plastic surgeon recently claimed that Kris’s latest look might be AI-enhanced or digitally manipulated, pointing out changes in her jawline and chin that, in his view, would be extremely difficult to achieve surgically without noticeable evidence.

So what do we see? A bold hair move + a subtle (or not so subtle) facelift refresh = Kris Jenner giving us another moment to talk about aging, reinvention, and what looks real in the age of filters.

Whether you call it confident, shocking, or too much, she’s made a splash. And in her own words, she says she’ll probably be back to her black hair tomorrow. But for now, this blonde moment is getting noticed.

Is Scarlett Johansson the Perfect Mother Gothel? Fans Weigh In on the Live-Action Tangled Movie Casting!

0

Disney’s beloved animated musical Tangled is getting a live-action makeover — and after months of uncertainty, the project is officially back in development. According to a report by Variety, the studio is moving forward with the fantasy adventure that follows a long-haired princess, Rapunzel and her charming savior, Flynn Rider.

Rumor has it that none other than Scarlett Johansson is being considered for the role of the main villain, Mother Gothel. Widely acclaimed for her work in projects like “Lost in Translation,” “Marriage Story,” and the Marvel Cinematic Universe’s “Black Widow” franchise, Johansson is allegedly considered for a major film role.

Fans applauded the suggestion, pointing to how well Lady Gaga would capture Gothel’s manipulative essence. One user commented, “She’s got the perfect manipulative energy for Gothel.” The dark curls and deep eyes already scream ‘Mother knows best!’ Another added, “Finally accepting age-appropriate roles. Another said, “If Kathryn Hahn isn’t cast as Ursula I will boycott this movie.”

The live-action Tangled subsequently got shelved in April 2025 after the Snow White box office flop. But the unexpected success of “Lilo & Stitch” gave Disney executives confidence to go back to the drawing board and try again.

Michael Gracey (The Greatest Showman) is reportedly attached to direct. In an interview with Seventeen, Bridgerton star Corey Mylchreest revealed that he auditioned for the role of Flynn Rider before the project was paused. “I think I was born to play that role,” he said.

With casting rumors swirling and the project purportedly back on track, Tangled is once again one of the most highly anticipated Disney live-action adaptations.

Andrew Garfield Says “Unequivocally No” to Returning as Spider-Man in Avengers: Doomsday

Andrew Garfield has once again broken the internet, not by putting on the Spider-Man suit, but by flat-out refusing to do so. In a new interview with GQ, the actor was asked if he would reprise his role as the web-slinger in the upcoming Avengers: Doomsday. His answer was loud and clear, “No. Unequivocally. F***ing no.”

Of course, Marvel fans have heard this tune before. It’s almost a déjà vu moment from 2021, when Garfield spent months denying his involvement in Spider-Man: No Way Home, only to appear alongside Tobey Maguire and Tom Holland in what became one of the biggest cinematic moments of the decade. The trio swinging into the same frame sent audiences into chaos, broke box office records, and quite literally made theaters roar.

So naturally, when Garfield says “no” this time, no one’s entirely convinced. Fans on social media have been quick to joke that his “no” actually means “see you in the post-credits scene.” One user wrote, “He said the same thing last time. I’m keeping my popcorn ready.” Another commented, “I believe Andrew Garfield less than Marvel’s release dates.”

Still, the actor seems more serious now than ever. He made it clear that he isn’t part of the Avengers: Doomsday cast and doesn’t have any plans to return to the Spider-Verse. Whether that’s true or just another expertly executed denial, only time will tell.

For now, all we can do is remember how Garfield’s last denial ended, with thunderous applause, tears, and one of the most iconic superhero reunions ever filmed. And until Avengers: Doomsday hits theaters, fans will keep watching interviews, decoding hints, and hoping for one more “amazing” surprise.
