Zayed Khan Reveals Why He Honoured Zarine Khan’s Wish Despite Funeral Controversy

0

Zayed Khan recently spoke about his mother Zarine Khan and her final wishes. His statement comes months after discussions took place about her funeral, where Hindu rituals were followed despite her mixed religious background. In an interview, Zayed explained that the decisions made during the last rites were based on his mother’s wishes and not influenced by public opinion.

He shared that in his family, religion has always been treated as something personal. They do not see one belief as better than another. Talking about this, he said, “We as a family find religion to be something very personal to you, and how you want to approach it, and not something which is better and which is worse. These are not things that are good to say. We define ourselves by being a very secular family, and we don’t need to say why.”

Zayed also spoke about the values followed in their home. He said that the family believes in supporting people from different backgrounds and focuses on giving opportunities instead of dividing people based on religion.

He then shared a personal memory of his mother. He recalled that she was once sitting near a river when she expressed a simple wish about her final moments. According to him, “the thought just passed her head, saying that if I ever go, I want my ashes to flow in this river. I want to be free”.

For Zayed, fulfilling this wish was very important. He made it clear that his mother’s last wishes mattered more than any outside opinions. He said, “Whatever your mother’s last wishes, it will be done. It doesn’t matter what other people say. It doesn’t matter how hateful they can be. I don’t blame them, halat aise hai (situation is such), unfortunately. Unn halaton ko badalne mein waqt lagega (It will take time to change those circumstances).”

Zarine Khan passed away on November 7 last year in Mumbai at the age of 81 due to health issues related to age. Her funeral drew attention because Zayed performed Hindu rituals, even though she had Parsi roots and was married to Sanjay Khan.

She had a brief connection with films and appeared in Tere Ghar Ke Samne in 1963 with Dev Anand. She later married Sanjay Khan in 1966. She is survived by her husband and their children Zayed Khan, Sussanne Khan, Farah, and Simone Arora.

Ramayana Makers To Reveal First Look Of Ranbir Kapoor Yash And Sai Pallavi On This Date

0

The upcoming film Ramayana is set to share a new update on April 2. The makers, producer Namit Malhotra and director Nitesh Tiwari, have planned this reveal to match the occasion of Hanuman Jayanti. This is expected to be an important step in the film’s overall promotion.

The new content will give audiences their first proper look at the main actors in their roles. Viewers will see Ranbir Kapoor as Lord Ram, Yash as Ravana, Sai Pallavi as Sita, Ravi Dubey as Lakshman, and Sunny Deol as Hanuman. This will be the first time that the audience will see how these well known characters have been presented in the film.

The focus of this reveal is not on action or large scale visuals. Instead, it is meant to show how each character has been imagined. According to reports, the idea is to introduce the story through its characters first. A source close to the project said, “This asset is designed to introduce the world of Ramayana through its characters. It’s more personal and rooted in how each role has been envisioned. The scale and action will be explored in a separate asset that will arrive in a couple of months.”

Apart from the main cast, the reveal may also include other actors who are part of the film. These include Rakul Preet Singh, Lara Dutta, Vivek Oberoi, Arun Govil, and Kunal Kapoor.

This reveal is part of a longer plan. Reports suggest that the makers are preparing a seven month promotional campaign. During this time, they will release different types of content to gradually build interest in the film.

A separate video focusing on the film’s scale, action, and overall world is expected to be released in the coming months. The film is planned as a two part story. The music will be composed by Hans Zimmer and AR Rahman, bringing together international and Indian styles.

The first part of Ramayana is currently scheduled to release during Diwali 2026.

Lisa Kudrow Says She Feels Too Embarrassed To Watch Friends In Front Of Her Family

0

Lisa Kudrow recently shared that she feels uncomfortable watching her popular sitcom Friends in front of her family. The 62 year old actress said that she prefers to watch the show only when she is alone. She usually waits until her husband, Michel Stern, who is 67 years old, goes to sleep before she watches a few episodes.

She spoke about this during her appearance on The Scott Mills Breakfast Show. When she was asked about the shows she watches, Lisa said, “Friends at night before going to bed. I haven’t seen a lot of episodes. I sit in the family room, and I wait until my husband goes to sleep because I’m too embarrassed for anyone to see me watching it – but I’ll tell all of you”.

The host Gary Davies joked that she was sharing this with listeners but not with her husband. Lisa then clarified, “No, he knows that I like watching it”.

Lisa also explained that she did not watch many episodes when the show was originally airing. At that time, she was busy working on the series. The show followed the lives of six friends living in New York, including her character Phoebe Buffay, along with Rachel Green played by Jennifer Aniston, Ross Geller played by David Schwimmer, Monica Geller played by Courteney Cox, and Chandler Bing played by Matthew Perry.

Talking about that time, she said, “Only the first couple of seasons because we were busy. I don’t think any of us watched every episode. And we were also not hanging out watching the show as it’s being shot. At first, you are. And then you’re just too busy, even during the show”.

Even now, Lisa enjoys watching the show and finds it funny. She said, “Hilarious. I say her when it’s me. If my husband comes in to get something, he’s like, ‘Oh, you’re watching your show. OK’. Then he watches a little. It’s funny”.

She also shared that she has recently reached the season eight finale, where two characters welcome their daughter. The show originally aired from 1994 to 2004 and had 236 episodes.

Looking back, Lisa said she feels proud to have been part of the show. When asked about her experience, she said, “Oh, yeah! But I was then. I mean, yes, I was cautiously optimistic, I was trying to be realistic. But once it was clear that it was working, and we were probably going to be on for a while, it was so fast, it was right after that very first season. And yes, we were all really grateful. We were pretty good, I have to say, in terms of attitude”.

She added, “We were all really grateful. We worked really hard on our relationship, too, because we all felt like, ‘This translates to, so let’s be good together’. It was just great. Everything about it, I have to say

Dhurandhar 2 Actor Vivek Sinha Responds to Criticism Over Controversial Role

0

Vivek Sinha, who played the role of hijacker Zahoor Mistry in Dhurandhar, has opened up about the mixed reactions he has received for his short but intense performance. In a conversation with PTI, Vivek revealed that a female viewer messaged him on Instagram, saying he should feel ashamed for accepting the role in the spy thriller. In the film, Zahoor delivers a chilling line, calling Hindus a cowardly community and threatening to cause chaos. The scene, although brief, left a strong impact on audiences.

Vivek shared how he responded to the viewer. He explained that he sent her a voice note to clarify his perspective. He said that movies are mirrors of society and actors portray characters, not personal beliefs. “If we want to show a dangerous terrorist from Pakistan threatening people at gunpoint, we have to portray his thinking, however cruel it is. Should we call real terrorists to act in the film? Should we call real murderers to act if someone is killing in a scene? The film is showing what the character thinks, not what the actor believes,” Vivek said. He added that after sending the voice note, the viewer has not replied yet.

Since its release in December last year, Dhurandhar, starring Ranveer Singh, has made history as the highest-grossing Hindi film of all time. The film follows an Indian spy infiltrating Karachi’s criminal and political underworld in Pakistan. It draws inspiration from real-life events such as the 1999 IC-814 hijacking, the 2001 Indian Parliament attack, the 2008 Mumbai attacks, and Operation Lyari.

The sequel, Dhurandhar 2, continues the story of Ranveer Singh’s character Jaskirat Singh Rangi, showing his transformation into the spy Hamza Ali Mazari. The film charts his rise in the Karachi underworld and his mission to dismantle a terror network threatening India. It also features an intense face-off between Ranveer and Arjun Rampal, adding to the film’s high-stakes drama.

The movie boasts a star-studded cast including Sanjay Dutt, R Madhavan, Rakesh Bedi, Sara Arjun, and Danish Pandor. Vivek Sinha’s performance as Zahoor Mistry, although brief, is being widely discussed, highlighting how actors tackle challenging and morally complex roles in high-profile films. Dhurandhar 2 continues to dominate the box office, with audiences appreciating its gripping story and powerful performances.

With a total of ₹872.17 crore in India so far, the film has even surpassed Yash’s KGF Chapter 2, which earned ₹859.70 crore domestically.

The sequel has even exceeded the second weekend haul of the first Dhurandhar, which earned ₹141.5 crore. However, it is still short of Dhurandhar Part 1’s lifetime Indian total of ₹895 crore, SS Rajamouli’s Baahubali 2: The Conclusion at ₹1,030.42 crore, and Pushpa 2: The Rise at ₹1,234.10 crore.

The story follows Ranveer Singh’s character, Hamza Ali Mazari, an undercover Indian intelligence agent, as he rises through Karachi’s underworld. The film also traces his origins as Jaskirat Singh Rangi, a young man who transforms into a highly skilled spy. The sequel charts his covert operations against criminal syndicates and political power structures in Karachi, set against real-world events such as the Kandahar plane hijack, the 2001 Indian Parliament attack, and the 26/11 Mumbai attacks.

Set in the notorious Lyari town of Karachi, known for gang wars and violent turf battles, Dhurandhar 2 combines intense action sequences with a gripping story of intelligence operations and personal transformation. The film also stars Sanjay Dutt, Arjun Rampal, R Madhavan, Sara Arjun, and Rakesh Bedi in important roles. Produced by Jyoti Deshpande and Lokesh Dhar, the movie released in Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam, appealing to audiences across the country.

Dhurandhar 2 continues to dominate at the box office, breaking records and winning widespread praise from audiences and celebrities. The spy thriller, starring Ranveer Singh in the lead, achieved a phenomenal milestone by crossing ₹1000 crore worldwide in just seven days. Its gripping story, high-octane action, and strong performances have made it one of the most talked-about films of the year.

Actor Anupam Kher, who attended the International Film Festival Delhi in 2026, spoke highly of the film and urged people to ignore critics labeling movies as propaganda. He told reporters, “I think we should ignore people who are calling cinema propaganda films. We are putting too much energy onto them, they are redundant people, they are irrelevant people. Let’s celebrate the success of The Kashmir Files, let’s celebrate the success of Dhurandhar. People are not idiots. People go to see the film because they like it.” He emphasized that cinema has the power to influence people, but at the same time, it is a business like any other.

Anupam Kher also shared his personal admiration for the film and its director, Aditya Dhar. He revealed that he called Dhar personally to congratulate him and praised Ranveer Singh’s performance. “I’m a teacher of acting. For me to really salute somebody, it takes a lot of time and conviction. You are outstanding. Your body language, your simmering anger, understanding your pain. In one or two scenes, your pain is so visible and made me sad. My heart went out to you,” he said, highlighting the emotional depth and commitment of the actors.

Dhurandhar 2 tells the origin story of Ranveer Singh’s character, Jaskirat Singh Rangi, and explains his transformation into the spy Hamza Ali Mazari. The film explores how Hamza rises through the ranks of Lyari’s underworld and political circles to become a key figure while executing his mission to dismantle a terror network in Pakistan. The story combines thrilling action sequences with emotional stakes, keeping audiences glued to their seats.

The movie also stars Arjun Rampal, R Madhavan, Sanjay Dutt, Rakesh Bedi, and Sara Arjun in pivotal roles. Danish Pandor, Udaybir Sandhu, and other actors play key supporting roles, while Aditya Dhar’s wife, actor Yami Gautam, makes a cameo appearance. With its record-breaking success and critical acclaim, Dhurandhar 2 is proving to be a landmark in Indian cinema, both commercially and artistically.

Fans continue to celebrate the film’s success, and Anupam Kher’s comments have reinforced the message that great cinema deserves recognition beyond controversies and labels.

Is Ram Charan’s Peddi Cursed? Release Date Pushed Again

0

Ram Charan’s much-awaited sports action film Peddi, which was set to hit theatres on April 30, has reportedly been postponed to an unknown date. Directed by Buchi Babu Sana, who made a successful Tollywood debut with the 2021 hit Uppena, Peddi stars Ram Charan alongside Janhvi Kapoor, Boman Irani, Shiva Rajkumar, Jagapathi Babu, and Divyendu Sharma. The movie was expected to create a big buzz with its mix of sports, drama, and action set against a rural backdrop, but fans may now have to wait a little longer.

According to 123Telugu, some crucial portions of the film are yet to be shot, making it difficult for the makers to release Peddi on April 30. If this delay is confirmed, it will be the third time the film’s release has been postponed. The first shift was from March 27, 2026, to April 30, and now it could be delayed further. Recently, Ram Charan suffered a minor injury during an action sequence. He reportedly received four stitches above his eye but confirmed that his eye is completely fine. A source told Hindustan Times that Ram is back at work and the injury will not affect the film’s progress.

Peddi revolves around a cricket tournament in a rural setting, combining the thrill of sports with intense action and emotional drama. The film features a strong ensemble cast with Janhvi Kapoor, Shiva Rajkumar, Divyendu Sharma, Jagapathi Babu, and Boman Irani, adding depth to the story. The movie is produced by Venkata Satish Kilaru and Ishan Saksena under the banners of Vriddhi Cinemas and IVY Entertainment. Music and background score are composed by A. R. Rahman, promising a rich audio experience for fans.

On Ram Charan’s birthday, the makers released a teaser glimpse showing him in a rugged, muscular avatar, drawing comparisons to a wrestler and creating excitement among audiences. Ram Charan was last seen in the film Game Changer, directed by S. Shankar, which focused on an IAS officer fighting corruption. While Game Changer received a lukewarm response, it is currently streaming on Amazon Prime Video.

Looking ahead, Ram Charan is expected to reunite with director Sukumar for a project tentatively titled RC17. Fans of the actor continue to eagerly await Peddi, hoping the film delivers a perfect blend of sports action, emotion, and star power when it finally releases. The delay may be disappointing, but it also ensures that the movie will be ready in its best possible form.

Divya Agarwal and Prince Narula Clash Again After The 50, Fans Go Wild

0

Reality TV stars Divya Agarwal and Prince Narula are making headlines again following their stint on the popular show The 50. Once close friends, the two reportedly fell out during the show because of growing competition and tension in the palace where they lived and competed.

After the show ended, both stars spoke critically about each other in interviews, but the latest clash has taken the drama to social media. Prince Narula recently made a remark about Divya during an interview, saying, “Meri Z behen ko kehna chahunga 2 peg kam maara karo.” Divya quickly responded, hitting back with a sharp comment telling him to “get your fame from elsewhere.” She also added a dig at him, calling him her “so-called ex-brother” and saying he should “grow up” and “become a better person.”

This feud is not new. Earlier, Divya had shared a video claiming that she had received hate messages and even rape threats from Prince Narula’s fans. She also suggested that Prince spends too much time watching the show closely instead of moving on. Prince later addressed her claims, stating that while he may have dominated the game strategically, he never tried to dominate her personally. He accused Divya of being “hungry for footage” and claimed she builds relationships on the show mainly for attention. Prince also alleged that she had lied about not watching episodes and criticized her for thinking of herself as a bigger celebrity than she really is.

Meanwhile, the finale of The 50 saw Shiv Thakare, Faisal Shaikh, Rajat Dalal, Krishna Shroff, and Immortal Kaka face tough challenges. Shiv Thakare completed the final task the fastest and won the competition. In a touching gesture, Prince had earned a spot in the finals but gave it up to allow Shiv to compete, later paying tribute to him after the victory.

The show, which debuted in February, became an instant hit thanks to its unique concept. Fifty contestants including Karan Patel, Divya Agarwal, Rajat Dalal, Ridhi Dogra, Manisha Rani, and Urvashi Dholakia competed in various games testing their strength, intelligence, and strategy. With high stakes and strong personalities, it was no surprise that conflicts like Divya and Prince’s continued to capture viewers’ attention.

As the show concludes, fans continue debating and taking sides online, keeping the controversy alive and proving that reality TV drama is far from over.

Shah Rukh Khan’s King Shoot Shifted From Dubai to Mumbai Here’s Why

0

The upcoming film King, directed by Siddharth Anand and starring Shah Rukh Khan along with his daughter Suhana Khan, is currently being shot. The film has already created a lot of excitement among fans, especially because it marks the first time Shah Rukh Khan will share screen space with his daughter. However, there has been a recent change in the shooting plans.

The next schedule of the film was originally planned to be shot in Dubai. The team had completed all the required permissions and was ready for a week long shoot starting April 9. But due to the ongoing tensions related to the US Iran conflict, the makers decided not to take any risks. Keeping the safety of the cast and crew in mind, they chose to cancel the Dubai schedule.

Instead of shooting abroad, the team has now recreated the required setup in Mumbai. A large and detailed set has been built in a studio in Vile Parle to match the scale that the director had originally planned. According to reports, this change has also given the filmmakers more control over the scenes, especially the action and lighting. The sequence being filmed includes a high speed chase followed by an intense fight scene, which is expected to be one of the highlights of the movie.

The film King was officially announced in November last year on Shah Rukh Khan’s birthday. The title reveal created a lot of buzz, showing the actor in a stylish silver haired look along with a powerful dialogue that caught everyone’s attention. Since then, fans have been eagerly waiting for more updates.

Produced by Red Chillies Entertainment and Marflix Pictures, the film is said to be an action drama with strong emotional elements. Shah Rukh Khan will reportedly play the role of an experienced assassin, while Suhana Khan will be seen as his trainee, learning the skills needed for dangerous missions.

The film also features a big star cast including Deepika Padukone, Abhishek Bachchan, Anil Kapoor, Rani Mukerji, Arshad Warsi, Abhay Verma, and Raghav Juyal.

In an earlier interview, Shah Rukh Khan shared that he had been wanting to do a film like this for many years. He described King as a mix of action and emotion that will connect with a wide audience. With such a strong team and interesting concept, the film is expected to be a big entertainer.

Hardik Pandya’s Girlfriend Mahieka Sharma Protects His Son at IPL Match Sparks Online Debate

0

The Indian Premier League season is not just about cricket matches but also about moments off the field that quickly go viral. Recently, after Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma made headlines for their sweet interaction, attention has now shifted to Hardik Pandya and his personal life.

Hardik’s rumoured girlfriend Mahieka Sharma was seen at a match between Mumbai Indians and Kolkata Knight Riders on Sunday. While the match itself ended with a win for Hardik’s team, what happened after the game grabbed more attention online. In a viral video, Mahieka was seen walking out of the stadium with Hardik’s young son Agastya Pandya when photographers gathered around them.

As the paparazzi tried to click pictures, Mahieka quickly stepped in to protect the child. She covered his face and politely asked photographers to maintain distance. She also requested them not to use camera flashes, as it could disturb the child. In the video, she can be heard asking them to move aside and be careful since she was with a young kid. She was also seen holding Agastya’s hand and checking if he was comfortable while walking through the crowd.

The video spread quickly on social media and received mixed reactions from people. Some praised Mahieka for being caring and responsible, saying she did the right thing by protecting the child from harsh lights and attention. Others, however, felt that her reaction was a bit too strong and called it unnecessary. This difference of opinion has once again started a discussion about how much privacy celebrity children should have in public places.

This is not the first time Mahieka Sharma and Hardik Pandya have gone viral. Earlier, during India’s T20 World Cup celebrations, a video of them celebrating together had caught people’s attention. That moment had also created some controversy after a complaint was filed by a lawyer who claimed there was disrespect towards the Indian flag.

Mahieka Sharma, who is a young model and actor, is said to be in a relationship with Hardik Pandya. Reports suggest that they made their relationship public earlier this year around her birthday.

As the IPL continues, such moments show that fans are equally interested in the personal lives of their favourite stars. Along with cricket, these off field stories keep social media buzzing and conversations going.
