Director Prasanth Varma has released the first look of the much-awaited sequel to his blockbuster Hanu-Man. The new film, Jai Hanuman, stars Kantara hero Rishab Shetty. The poster, which was released on Shetty’s Instagram, shows him as Lord Hanuman, holding an idol of Lord Rama inside a temple, exuding strength and devotion. It has been confirmed that it will be part of Prasanth Varma Cinematic Universe, or PVCU, extending the visionary concept of his mythological cinema under Mythri Movie Makers, who have been funded by producers Naveen Yerneni and Y Ravi Shankar.
Shetty accompanied a powerful caption for the first look image posted in the social media post: “A vow from the Tretayuga, bound to be fulfilled in the Kaliyuga.”. There, Jai Hanuman, will delve into Hanuman’s life under Kaliyuga-which has to do with his exiled times, or as referred in the film- Agyathavas. In addition, his binding mission oath. Through these projects, Indian mythology and action drama enthusiasts are going to get an exhilarating extension of the mythologically inspired cinematic universes.
