Pushpa 2: The Rule is already breaking records and conquering the world box office, with fans across the globe celebrating its blockbuster success. The opening day was nothing short of spectacular, raking in ₹174.9 crore, and by Friday, it had minted an estimated ₹90.10 crore. It’s also creating ripples in international markets, more so in North America, where it has registered the fourth-biggest opening for an Indian film of all time at $4.47 million (₹37.85 crore), beating the opening of Salaar and Devara.

Everyone involved chanted and was replete with energy, leaving many other onlookers from America wonder-struck at the proportions of the fan celebration. Footage went viral at the speed of light; yet, it reflected the gigantic outreach of Allu Arjun.

The film became the first to collect ₹50 crore in both Telugu and Hindi markets on a single day. It overtook Jawan to emerge as the biggest Hindi film opener with ₹72 crore. Domestically, the film broke records by collecting the highest single-day gross in Indian cinema history at ₹209 crore on Day 1. Internationally, Pushpa 2 emerged as the biggest overseas opener for an Indian film by outperforming Kalki 2898 AD.

Director Atlee thanked Allu Arjun for his superb performance on his X account by sharing a congratulatory message in the film’s success. He wanted to praise the work of director Sukumar, Rashmika Mandanna and Fahadh Faasil also.
