The actress was seen enjoying simple moments with Raj, including meals, shopping, coffee and a game of pickleball. Samantha shared the pictures on Instagram with the caption, “Just us” along with a clock, evil eye and baby emoji. The post quickly caught attention as the actress and filmmaker prepare to welcome their first child together.

Samantha’s close friend Kresha Bajaj also reacted to the post. She wrote, “countdown begins”, hinting at the upcoming arrival of the couple’s first baby.

The news of Samantha expecting her first child with Raj Nidimoru emerged in July. During a thank you event for her film Maa Inti Bangaaram in Hyderabad in July, Samantha officially confirmed the pregnancy. She also revealed that she would be taking a short break from work as she begins her maternity leave.

Speaking about her decision to step away from work for some time, Samantha was quoted as saying, “Sorry guys, one more small gap and then I will be back. I know I have to take maternity leave now. But I am very happy.”

Samantha and Raj got married in 2025. The marriage marked the second marriage for both of them. Samantha was previously married to actor Naga Chaitanya from 2017 to 2021, while Raj Nidimoru was earlier married to Shhyamali De.

Samantha began her acting career with the Telugu romantic film Ye Maaya Chesave in 2010. She later appeared in films including Neethaane En Ponvasantham and Eega. Over the years, she became one of the familiar faces in South Indian cinema and appeared in several successful films.

Her filmography includes Dookudu, Seethamma Vakitlo Sirimalle Chettu, Attarintiki Daredi, Kaththi, Theri, 24, Mersal and Rangasthalam. She also received praise for performances in films such as Mahanati, Oh! Baby, Super Deluxe and Majili.

Samantha later turned producer with the horror comedy Subham. She followed it with Maa Inti Bangaaram, which became her highest solo grosser. For now, the actress is taking a short break from work and enjoying this new phase of her life with Raj.
