Sobhita Dhulipala and Naga Chaitanya’s lavish wedding on December 4 in Hyderabad remains the toast of the town, with elated pictures and videos popping up on social media. However, some devoted fans have been left amused by a moment where Naga Chaitanya’s sister, Samanta, shared, light-heartedly, why their father looked somewhat glum during the ceremony.
A picture from Sobhita’s makeup artist showed the bride smiling away with Samanta and their father at the ceremonies. Whereas the bride was radiantly glowing, the picture of their father drew Samanta’s attention, who captioned, “My happy bride with her bridesmaid.” Resharing the image on her Instagram story, she said in a tongue-in-cheek manner, “My dad was pissed; he was laughing,” bringing a smile to fans and piquing their curiosity about what had transpired during the celebrations.

The couple made their first appearance as husband and wife at the Sri Bhramaramba Sametha Mallikarjuna Swamy Devasthanam Temple at Srisailam after their wedding. With Nagarjuna Akkineni, Naga Chaitanya’s father, in attendance, the loving couple respectfully prayed for blessings for their journey ahead, beaming with happiness themselves.
Apart from this milestone in his life, Naga Chaitanya is set to appear as a guest in Rana Daggubati’s show. The teaser for the episode features Chaitanya speaking of his vision for making a comeback when “I am going to be 50.”
