Recently, it was reported that actor Yash’s film Toxic has got embroiled in a legal controversy. It was reported that trees were cut illegally for the construction of the film’s set, due to which the film has been embroiled in controversies. Karnataka Forest Minister Ishwar Kandre objected to this tree cutting incident and directed the officials to take action against the accused. Now according to the latest information, an FIR has been registered against the makers of the film in this case.

According to ANI report, “An FIR has been registered against the producers for illegally cutting trees on forest land for the construction of the film’s set in Bengaluru. Apart from this, a case has also been registered against the General Manager of Karnataka Bank and the General Manager of Hindustan Machine Tools (HMT).”

Earlier, Karnataka Forest Minister Ishwar Kandre had strongly condemned the incident of tree cutting in the HMT area of Bengaluru during the shooting of Yash’s film Toxic. He announced strict legal action in this matter after inspecting the site and reviewing satellite images. He said that forest conservation is needed and responsibility will be fixed for illegal activities in protected areas. Speaking to ANI, Ishwar Kandre had said, “I visited the shooting location of the film Toxic on HMT land in Bengaluru.

Many trees were cut there. Satellite images from last year show many trees in the area. I have sought a report on the matter from BBMP. After investigation, we will take appropriate action. We will build another Lalbagh or Cubbon Park-like park in Bengaluru.” After this, now the news has come out that an FIR has been registered in this matter.

Yash’s film Toxic is considered to be one of the most awaited films of 2025. The shooting of the film is going on in full swing and actress Kiara Advani will also be seen in it. Apart from this, there are reports of Nayanthara, Tara Sutaria, Shruti Haasan and Huma Qureshi also being in the film. There will be tremendous action in the film and for this Hollywood action director JJ Perry has also joined the team. Now it remains to be seen what effect this legal dispute has on the shooting of the film and its release.
