In the drama continuation of Bigg Boss 18, all hell broke loose between the housemates as tensions mounted. The latest dishelming came due to a scrapping that arose when Avinash Mishra, who, along with being in Bigg Boss jail, is currently controlling the power of giving food, denied giving food to the others. The bold step by the actor resulted in an argument that ended in a retreat – a retreat to rest only.
Amid all this tension, Chahat couldn’t keep her anger in and splashed water on Avinash, which led to an explosion as he returned the attack by abusing her, his words, “gawar”, an insult referring to someone of village soil as not cultured or rustic. Here, Chahat played a trick. She said that Avinash was actually disrespecting her because she hails from a village background.
So, this face-off along with power plays in the house and personal battles-a staple of past seasons as well-was also seen, for example, in Bigg Boss 14, when housemates like Jasmin Bhasin and Rahul Vaidya were at loggerheads for several tasks. The roller-coaster-like emotional characteristic of the show was seen when Jasmin fell in the course of a task and later threw a crying fit, whereas Rubina Dilaik took on Rakhi Sawant, showing how things could change so fast between friendships and rivalries.
