Khan’s candid remarks came amid heightened security following death threats from the Lawrence Bishnoi gang, which has also claimed responsibility for the murder of NCP leader Baba Siddique, a close friend of Salman, who was shot dead on October 12.
During the episode, Salman shared his emotional state with actor Shilpa Shirodkar, saying, “I feel like I shouldn’t have come here today, but it’s a commitment.” His words reflected the emotional burden he has been carrying in the wake of Siddique’s death, as sources have reported that the actor has been devastated by the loss.
Despite the tension, the episode took a lighter turn when contestant Chaahat Pandey humorously proposed to Salman Khan for marriage, complimenting fellow contestant Karanveer Mehra and joking about the qualities she desires in a life partner. Salman, with his signature wit, responded by saying, “The qualities you mentioned, I don’t possess any of them. Plus, I wouldn’t get along with your mother at all,” which lightened the mood.
Security on the Bigg Boss set has been extremely tight since the threats, with over 60 security personnel present during Salman’s shoot on October 18. Entry into the set requires stringent Aadhaar card verification, ensuring that no outsiders can breach the actor’s safety.

Earlier in the show, Avinash Mishra was evicted from the house following a physical altercation with fellow contestant Chum Darang. The incident occurred after Avinash and another contestant, Chaahat, were unanimously sent to jail by the housemates, a punishment that triggered Avinash’s anger. He began making provocative personal remarks, leading to verbal spats with several contestants, including Karanveer Mehra, Arfeen Khan, Vivian Dsena, Rajat Dalal, and Chum Darang. The situation escalated when Chum verbally abused Avinash, and he responded by twisting her finger.
