Actor Hina Khan has responded with heartfelt words after her name appeared in Google’s list of the top 10 most searched actors in the world for 2024. While many celebrated the recognition, Hina expressed a more introspective and emotional take on the matter. Taking to Instagram Stories, she acknowledged the congratulatory messages but stated that the reason for her being Googled is neither an achievement nor a source of pride for her.
Hina wrote, “I wish and pray that no one should be Googled because of their diagnosis or any health-related hardships. I have always appreciated people’s genuine regard and respect for my journey. In these testing times, I would rather be Googled or known or acknowledged for my work and my accomplishments…just like I have been before and during my diagnosis.”

The actor was referring to her ongoing battle with stage three breast cancer, which she publicly disclosed earlier this year. Hina has been candid about her diagnosis and treatment, sharing updates with fans to inspire strength and awareness. In a previous post, she reassured her followers, saying, “Despite this challenging diagnosis, I wish to reassure everyone that I am doing well. I kindly ask for your respect and privacy during this time.”
Recently, Hina reflected on the toughest phase of her journey, describing the physical and mental challenges she faced. Sharing pictures of herself, she wrote, “The last 15-20 days have been the toughest for me in this journey, both physically and mentally. The scars did come, and I gave my all to face them without being scared.” She also added, “I FOUGHT it, and I still am. To get through all the pain, I have to find the balance to continue the cycle of positivity with deliberate smiles in the hopes that real joy would naturally follow. And it did.”
