VICKY DONOR gave a super start to Ayushmann Khurrana in Bollywood. However, the subsequent films NAUTANKI SAALA! and BEWAKOOFIYAAN weren’t received well at the Box-office, especially the latter. Now that the charming actor that Ayushmann is, is gearing up for his upcoming film HAWAIZAADA, all eyes are set on his new film.

Ask Ayushmann if he is under the pressure of delivering a Box-office hit with HAWAIZAADA and he says, ”I do not understand numbers. I don’t understand Box-office figures. I have flunked in Maths in my pre-boards. Till the time people are appreciating my craft I am happy with it. What else do you want? But having said that, in today’s day and age commercial success is also important.”
He adds, ”Technically, I feel I have given just one unsuccessful film i.e. BEWAKOOFIYAAN, NAUTANKI SAALA was a successful film by the way. I think people here and specially the film industry by nature are very fickle. Even if you give one unsuccessful film, they start doubting your commercial prowess.”

Ayushmann is upbeat about HAWAIZAADA’s success. He says, ”HAWAIZAADA is a beautiful film and this is the second time I am excited about my film after VICKY DONOR. People will love this film for sure. It is a potential cult film…but still who can predict the commercial success?”
Also starring Pallavi Sharda, HAWAIZAADA is directed by Vibhu Puri and all set to hit the screens on January 30, 2015.
