Filmmaker Dharmesh Darshan needs no introduction for the connoisseurs of cinema, who are aware of the fact that he is one of the pillars of neo age yet traditional (but uncompromising) cinema, that was introduced in the late 90s, after the violent action flicks, that dominated the era prior to that. Dharmesh has always made films on his terms, and is one of the rare breed, who has not used the media to further his cause.

Not only is Dharmesh Darshan a wonderful director, whose films like RAJA HINDUSTANI and DHADKAN were poetry on celluloid (especially the latter), but is also a brilliant writer. We bring you his thoughts on the sad demise of the young Jiah Khan.

As per Dharmesh, “The First Casualty of BIZARRE BAZAAR NEW BOLLYWOOD…Jiah Khan, mind overworking, ruthless over information, killing competitiveness AND INEXPERIENCED YOUTH sadly not being able to sheerly survive while selling others dreams, utterly genuinely confused to this point,,, dearest artiste DO RIP.”

Those are profound thoughts from an erudite person, on the perils of modern age cinema, where one has to keep on succeeding and excelling (against cut-throat competition), else.. there will be many more tragedies similar to this.
