Whether it is Kareena Kapoor (TASHAN), Anushka Sharma (LADIES V/S RICKY BEHL) or even newbie Sashaa Agha (AURANGZEB) – each of these heroines has donned a bikini for a Yash Raj production. Since they are presented quite classily, none of them have had a reason to complain. Now since Parineeti Chopra is pretty much a regular with Yash Raj, it just seems that it is about time she too readies to step into the costume. More so since in each of her three released films so far, LADIES V/S RICKY BEHL, ISHAQZAADE and SHUDDH DESI ROMANCE, she has donned an out and out desi girl look and now in KILL DIL, she would be seen in an ultra-glam and western avatar.

As per Parineeti though, there is going to be some waiting period involved before she takes the plunge.
Says Parineeti, ‘That may happen but not in KILL DIL. First I need to get into a bikini ready shape and then think of a bikini shoot. Perhaps in films after that, I could take a shot at that.’

On her end, Parineeti has herself made no bones about stepping into the costume, if required for a film. She said, ‘I don’t tell my directors that I won’t wear a bikini for a film or won’t kiss on screen. It is as simple as not putting a mandate like ‘I won’t cut my hair short’. Come on, if I put so many restrictions on myself, I won’t be able to play any role that my director wants from me.’
2014 is going to be an eventful year for Parineeti as she would be seen in HASEE TOH PHASEE, DAAWAT-E-ISHQ and KILL DIL. Also, if all goes as per plan, she could also be paired opposite Ranbir Kapoor for Karan Johar’s next.
