Tom Cruise thrilled fans with a surprise appearance at the Royal Albert Hall in London during an orchestral concert featuring the score of Top Gun: Maverick. The audience was stunned as Cruise took the stage in a suit, standing before the orchestra to introduce the film and express his admiration for the live score performance.

On stage, Cruise referred to Balfe as a “dear friend” and a “brilliant” composer, adding that it was a long-held dream of his to witness a film’s score performed live by a full symphony orchestra. “Thank you all for being here and thank you for making this dream come true,” Cruise said, before encouraging the audience to enjoy the performance.
