Baby John, starring Varun Dhawan, is shaping up to be one of the most anticipated action films this Christmas, with Jio Studios, Atlee, and Murad Khetani unveiling a fierce new look of Jackie Shroff as the antagonist on Dussehra. Jackie Shroff’s character looks menacing with his grey, long hair, vintage rings, and chains, adding to the intense vibe of this high-octane entertainer. Shroff will play a ruthless villain, which has fans eagerly waiting to see his powerful on-screen persona.
The excitement surrounding Baby John soared after distributors and exhibitors gave their approval following a special 5-minute preview. This marks the first time Varun Dhawan will headline a full-blown action film, directed by Kalees, with a musical score by S Thaman. The film promises a blend of thrilling action, mass entertainment, and stellar performances, further amplified by its high-budget production.
The cast also includes exciting debuts Keerthy Suresh in her first Hindi film and Wamiqa Gabbi making her silver screen debut alongside veteran actors like Rajpal Yadav. Produced by Jio Studios in association with Atlee and Cine1 Studios, and co-produced by Murad Khetani, Priya Atlee, and Jyoti Deshpande, Baby John is scheduled for a theatrical release on December 25, 2024.
As per reports, fans can expect the film’s teaser to drop around Diwali. According to a source, the teaser will be attached to Singham Again and Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3, two major Diwali releases, to grab the attention of the cinema-going audience and kick off the film’s promotional campaign.
Varun Dhawan has expressed his enthusiasm for the project, stating, “All I can say is it’s a mass-action entertainer. There is a lot of entertainment in the film, which I love as well. And I’m just going to give it my all.” With a star-studded cast, thrilling action, and big-budget spectacle, Baby John is set to bring major excitement to theaters this Christmas.
