Sobhita Dhulipala and Naga Chaitanya are all set to tie the knot soon. Sobhita shared pictures from her haldi ceremony. She captioned it, “Godhuma Raayi Pasupu danchatam ♥ And so it starts!” The ceremony took place in Visakhapatnam.
Godhuma Raayi Pasupu danchatam which refers to a traditional Telugu wedding ritual where the bride and groom grind wheat, turmeric, and other ingredients together. This symbolic act represents the couple’s unity and shared responsibilities as they enter married life.

In this context, this action symbolizes unity, cooperation, and the idea that real estate requires both parties to work together harmoniously. This is one of the prominent traditional rituals of the coming together of the bride and groom at a Telugu wedding.
For ritual Sobhita wore a gold, peach and green silk saree. She was surrounded by friends and family as she received blessings from the elders. She also malted her usual turmeric.
Fans wish her well on her upcoming wedding “So beautiful,” one fan wrote. “Wake up,” another person commented.
Chay and Sobhita got engaged in August in front of their families. Chay is the daughter of Telugu star Nagarjuna. Sharing the news on his official X page, Nagarjuna said he was “happy” to wish Sobhita entry into the family. “We are delighted to announce the engagement of our son, Naga Chaitanya, to Sobhita Dhulipala, which took place this morning at 9:42 a.m!!”
Chaitanya was previously married to actor Samantha Ruth Prabhu, but they separated in 2021. Recently, their family faced controversy when Telangana Minister Konda Surekha made allegations linking their divorce to political figure KT Rama Rao. In response, Nagarjuna filed a defamation case to address the claims. Despite these challenges, the focus remains on the couple’s upcoming wedding and new beginnings.
