The lead singer of Coldplay, Chris Martin, and his girlfriend, actress Dakota Johnson, reportedly made headlines during their sojourn to India ahead of Coldplay’s Music of the Spheres World Tour. The star couple visited the iconic Babulnath Temple in Mumbai before performing at DY Patil Stadium, Navi Mumbai.
Chris Martin donned a traditional blue kurta along with a Rudraksha garland while Dakota Johnson was dressed in an elegant appearance by sporting a simple printed suit. She kept her head covered with the scarf to observe the temple tradition. Both Chris and Dakota were seen whispering into the ear of the statue of Lord Nandi, this, in Hindu tradition, is a wish or prayer. This sacred moment was caught on video and went viral on social media, winning the hearts of the fans by their engaging and respectful interaction with Indian culture.

More to the point, their public appearance together was said to have put a resolution to the perennial breakup rumors which had paraded since 2024. Dating since 2017, Chris and Dakota lit up the chemistry during their temple visit, to which fans breathe a sigh of relief and conclude that the two are in good spirits.

A local citizen has filed a complaint about a child’s safety issue during the concerts. The Thane district authorities issued a notice to Coldplay, Chris Martin, and their ticketing partner BookMyShow stipulating that there can be no sound level exceeding 120 decibels. Organizers were specifically warned of strict action in case these regulations are violated.
