Akshay Kumar’s tribute to India! Ae Mere Watan Ke Logon is a Must-Listen for every patriot

The patriotic movie Sky Force saw the relaunch of the classic song Ae Mere Watan Ke Logon on Monday. The song, originally sung by legendary Lata Mangeshkar, with poetry penned by Pradeep and music by C. Ramachandra, is a timeless anthem of patriotism that continues to inspire millions.

Composer Tanishk Bagchi shared his emotional experience of the song that he was overseeing the remake of: “Ae Mere Watan Ke Logon is a treasure in India’s rich musical and patriotic legacy. Coming with the saintly voice of Lata Mangeshkar ji, accompanied by the pain-laden lyrics of Pradeep ji and the jota from C. Ramchandra ji, it has its core calleth despertarent heart of the nation. I’ve tried with all respect and humility, incorporating some mildly updated notes enough to connect with the present,” he said.

Set against the backdrop of the 1965 Indo-Pak air war, the film depicts India’s counterattack on Pakistan’s Sargodha air base. Directed by Abhishek Kapoor, the cast includes Akshay Kumar, Veer Pahariya, Nimrat Kaur, and Sara Ali Khan in other forward roles.

Veer Pahariya, making an acting debut as Squadron Leader Ajjamada Bopayya Devayya, said: It was an emotional movie. After portraying a real-life hero of the 1965 war, I feel that along with pride comes a sense of accountability. I definitely think this movie will be an inspiration to other generations.

Scheduled to be released on January 24, 2025, Sky Force promises a rich culture of deep patriotism and gratitude. An experience aesthetic and provoking story landscape in addition with a rebirth of the iconic patriotic song is sure to set ablaze the patriotic flame in everyone’s heart.
