Ibrahim Ali Khan’s debut film has finally been titled Nadaaniyan. Netflix India took to Instagram to unveil the first poster, featuring Ibrahim alongside Khushi Kapoor in a casual, youthful setting.
Described as a young adult romantic drama, Nadaaniyan explores the magic, madness, and innocence of first love. Between Piya, a bold and spirited South Delhi girl, and Arjun, a determined middle-class boy from Noida, the hearts of two different worlds collide as they navigate through the chaos, mischief, and emotional whirlwind of young romance.

The project is headed by Shauna Gautam, marking her directorial debut after being an assistant director on Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani. It is an exciting project produced by Karan Johar’s Dharmatic Entertainment, and this one seems to promise something new for the love of the young. “With Nadaaniyan, we celebrate love in its purest and most youthful form,” the producers said. Ibrahim and Khushi bring a lively pairing, which makes this love story of connective tissue so special. Netflix’s global presence is the exciting platform for spreading this bright romance drama across the globe.
Director of Original Films at Netflix India, Ruchikaa Kapoor Sheikh, echoed the sentiment, calling Nadaaniyan a heartfelt exploration of young love’s trials and tribulations. “Through debutante director Shauna Gautam’s fresh vision, we aim to expand our roster of romantic dramas and bring relatable, youthful stories to audiences,” she added.
Though Nadaaniyan is yet to release, it has already garnered quite a buzz and excitement for its new fresh chemistry on-screen from Ibrahim Ali Khan and Khushi Kapoor.
