Social media is such that within a minute, false news spreads. This has led to celebrities facing many hoaxes through viral messages where fact-checking takes a backseat. Actress Nora Fatehi is the latest victim of one such incident: her death hoax has gone viral on the internet.
Recently, a video had surfaced on Instagram stating that Nora Fatehi was dead as she met a bungee jumping accident. This was uploaded by an Instagram user and made some wrong representations regarding the adventure sport where the lady who appeared was stated to be Street Dancer 3D actress. But, Nora Fatehi is safe and not hurt at all. The woman appearing in the viral clip is not Nora Fatehi and no fatal accident took place.

Closer inspection revealed that the woman in the video was clearly tied to safety harnesses. The squealing sound emanating from the video clip was a mere excitement and not a distress cry. Many viewers on social media immediately commented that it was false, like one who noted, “Zoom karke dekha, yeh woh nahi hai” which translates to Zoomed in and saw, this is not her. Another user criticized the post by saying, “It’s a shame on you to just get attention posting something like that.”
Nora Fatehi was last seen in the Hindi movie Madgaon Express and the Telugu film Matka. She has a pretty busy slate ahead, with movies such as Kanchana 4 and KD – The Devil. She will also feature in the upcoming Netflix series The Royals, opposite Bhumi Pednekar and Ishaan Khatter. The first look of the series, also starring Zeenat Aman, Sakshi Tanwar, and Dino Morea, was recently released.
Although it’s still a hoax, Nora Fatehi continues making a splash in the entertainment world; her next film is a definite must-see.
