Veera Dheera Sooran, which features Chiyaan Vikram, SJ Suryah, and Dushara Vijayan, has reached the end of its 7-day run at the theatres with a divided box office performance. The Kollywood action drama, helmed by SU Arun Kumar, had the least pre-release hype among Vikram’s post-pandemic outings, but it has still brought in reasonable returns. Opens to positive reviews from the critics and good word-of-mouth from the audience, the movie had a decent opening. It raked in 23.65 crore in the first five days, but the collections started declining after the first weekend. On Day 7, the collections for the movie fell by 35.27%, below the 2 crore mark with merely 1.78 crore.

Box Office Collection and Budget Recovery
So far in its seventh day, Veera Dheera Sooran has made a box office total of 28.18 crore in India, which is good but not remarkable. With a budget of 55 crore, the movie has regained approximately 51.23% of its cost of production. It still has 26.82 crore to recoup, and it will see whether the movie enters a safe area economically. While it may not be an impossibility to recover this sum, it would need a very high surge during the next weekend and a good hold on the succeeding weekdays.
Weekend Hopes and Competition
The future of the film depends on whether it will manage to achieve a decent weekend jump. Veera Dheera Sooran is currently above Kudumbasthan (23.49 crore) and stands as the 4th highest-grossing Tamil film of 2025. It is still behind other films such as Dragon (102.21 crore), Vidaamuyarchi (81.58 crore), and Madha Gaja Raja (48.70 crore). Finding sustained momentum over the next few days will be imperative for the film to make a successful turnaround.
