Jaat, the highly awaited mass action movie with Sunny Deol, is all ready to reach the box office on 10th April 2025. Gopichand Malineni is directing the movie with Regina Cassandra starring in the lead lady’s role and Randeep Hooda as the villain. Although it got an initial pick-up in ticket sales, the film received mixed responses during pre-sales, and nobody can be sure if it will perform well on the opening day.
Early Ticket Sales and Expectations
Through 1 pm of the day before it opened, Jaat had done about 4,500 worth of business selling tickets at national multiplex tops for day one. The film is hot trending on the sites like BookMyShow with an average sellthrough of a least 1,000 tickets in an hour but is poised for a more weakened opening at the national multiplexes with below initial anticipated business. Though, the film will be doing well in non-national multiplexes and single-screen theatres, where it has been receiving a better response.

Opening Day Hopes and Box Office Expectations
Looking at the latest trends of bookings, the opening day collections of Rs 10 crore for the film now look tough. Although the advance bookings have been mixed, Jaat has collected positive word of mouth for its trailer full of action. While it stands little chance of equaling Sunny Deol’s record-setting show of Gadar 2: The Katha Continues, which brought Rs 40 crore on opening day, Jaat can still emerge as a winner with Sunny Deol’s box office power and the success of the movie in non-domestic markets.

Jaat is being made under the banner of Mythri Movie Makers and also features Vineet Kumar Singh and Saiyami Kher. With the right kind of momentum, the movie might convert its initial mixed reception into a good box office show.
