On an appearance at Elvish Yadav’s podcast, Anjali was questioned about whom she had blocked on Instagram. Passing her mobile to Elvish, he soon realized that Anjali had blocked Munawar. When asked why, Anjali brushed off the incident by stating, “Abb ka thodi hai kabka hai” (It’s not recent, it happened in the past). Even Elvish’s questioning did not prompt Anjali to give more details about whether Munawar had indulged in indecency towards her. She then said, “Leave it na, why are you giving him so much importance?”

After the viral podcast clip, Munawar reacted on his Instagram story by posting a screen recording where he blocked Anjali back. He showed how Anjali’s profile was visible on his search feed, after which he opened her page and blocked her.
