Anupamaa, starring Rupali Ganguly, continues to dominate television TRP charts. However, it often finds itself in the spotlight for off-screen controversies. The latest buzz surrounds actor Manish Goel, who plays Raghav in the show, with reports suggesting that he is planning to quit due to alleged differences with co-star Rupali Ganguly.
Reports Claim Exit Over Differences
A report by India Forums claimed that Manish is set to exit the show following a fallout with Rupali. The source cited claimed, “Manish and Rupali had differences, which is why he will be quitting the show and the show will take another leap.”
Manish Goel Sets the Record Straight
Reacting to these claims, Manish Goel dismissed the rumours and clarified there is no truth to the speculated fallout. “It is completely false. Rupali aur meri pehchaan aaj ki nahi hai. I’ve known her since I landed in Mumbai. This is the fourth time we are working together,” he said. Laughing off the gossip, he added, “There is neither spark nor fire. I don’t know why people spread such things.”

On His Character’s Journey
Manish also addressed the rumours about quitting the show. He confirmed he’s still actively shooting, saying, “I have six scenes today and I’ve already done four.” He explained that his character, Raghav, was always planned as a cameo for about four months, and he has completed three months so far. Whether the role gets extended or not, he’s content with the original agreement.
Past Controversies
This isn’t the first time the show has been surrounded by such rumours. Earlier, there were speculations of a rift between Rupali Ganguly and Sudhanshu Pandey, who exited the show in 2024.
For now, Manish Goel remains part of Anupamaa, with no confirmation on a leap or exit.
