In an era where many television actors aspire to break into Bollywood, Vivian Dsena remains an exception. Known for his hit roles on the small screen, the actor has made it clear that he has no desire to pursue a film career not out of insecurity, but simply because it doesn’t interest him.
‘Films Are Not My Type’
In a recent interview with Mid-Day, Vivian opened up about his stance on movies. “By God’s grace, I have done four shows, and all of them have been hits. I would like to continue doing that, whether on television or the web, but films are not really my type,” he said. His focus remains on roles that challenge him and platforms that suit his storytelling style.

Vivian’s Return to the Screen
The actor also revealed that he’s gearing up for a comeback, this time through the OTT space. Vivian confirmed that he is in talks for multiple digital projects and will be returning to the screen with a web series soon. “I’ve come back, really come back to work. There are a lot of discussions and new projects in the pipeline,” he shared, exciting fans eagerly awaiting his return.

13 Years of Madhubala and Nostalgia
May 28 marked the 13th anniversary of Madhubala – Ek Ishq Ek Junoon, one of Vivian’s most iconic shows. Reminiscing about the series, he shared, “Fans would come all the way to Film City just to meet me. There were women who said, ‘My husband doesn’t watch anything else but your show.’”

From his debut in Gladrags Mr. India 2007 to standout performances in Pyaar Ki Ek Kahaani, Shakti – Astitva Ke Ehsaas Ki, and Madhubala, Vivian Dsena has built a strong, enduring TV career and he has no plans to switch lanes.
