Urvashi Rautela’s Shocking Claim: ‘My Luxury Suitcase with Rs 70 Lakh Jewelry Stolen at London Airport!’

Urvashi Rautela has alleged that her luxury suitcase, containing jewellery worth ₹70 lakh, was stolen from London’s Gatwick Airport.

Bollywood actress Urvashi Rautela has alleged that her luxury suitcase, containing jewellery worth ₹70 lakh, was stolen from London’s Gatwick Airport. The incident reportedly occurred during her recent visit to the UK, where she was attending Wimbledon. According to Urvashi, the theft happened after her Emirates flight from Mumbai, despite having all necessary travel documents.

In a statement shared by her team, Urvashi said, “As a Platinum Emirates Member and a global artist attending Wimbledon, I am deeply disheartened to report that our Christian Dior brown baggage was stolen from the baggage belt at London Gatwick Airport. Despite holding our baggage tag and ticket, the bag went missing directly from the belt area—an alarming breach of airport security.” She added that her repeated attempts to contact Emirates support and airport authorities went unanswered, calling the situation not just a personal loss but a serious concern for passenger safety.

Previous Theft Allegations Resurface
This isn’t the first time theft has surrounded the actress. Earlier this month, Urvashi’s mother, Meera Rautela, accused her daughter’s former manager, Vedika Prakash Shetty, of theft and misconduct during her tenure from 2015 to 2017. “She was hired as a 24/7 executive assistant and entrusted with Urvashi’s personal belongings. However, we later discovered she had engaged in multiple acts of theft and deceit,” Meera claimed.

Career and Philanthropy
Known for her roles in films like Singh Saab the Great, Sanam Re, Great Grand Masti, and Hate Story 4, Urvashi has also made waves in music videos such as Love Dose and Bijli Ki Taar. Beyond the screen, she actively supports charitable causes through the Urvashi Rautela Foundation and is associated with PETA India.
