Superstar Rajinikanth’s action entertainer Coolie has breezed past the ₹200 crore mark at the domestic box office in merely six days since release. The film, which was released on August 14, 2025, opened to historic figures, thanks to the Independence Day holiday weekend. In accordance with initial estimates by entertainment tracker Sacnilk, Coolie has raked in a cumulative ₹208.05 crore till now.
Though it had a phenomenal opening, the film now seems to be losing momentum. On Day 6 (Tuesday), it opened with its lowest single-day business, collecting just ₹1.4 crore overall. This sudden dip indicates the difficulty of films in post-festival season.
