Director Atlee’s much-awaited pan-India project starring Allu Arjun and Deepika Padukone is gaining momentum, with production set to begin soon. According to Pinkvilla, Deepika Padukone has begun preparations and will join the sets in November 2025 for a massive 100-day shoot schedule. Her role is described as intense and action-driven, showcasing her in a never-seen-before warrior avatar.
A source revealed, “Deepika will shoot dramatic and high-octane action sequences. The team has designed a special look and customized weapons for her character, taking her performance to a new level.”
A Parallel Universe with Multiple Roles
The untitled film—currently referred to as AA22xA6—is expected to explore a parallel universe narrative with both Allu Arjun and Deepika Padukone reportedly playing multiple characters. Filming is set to continue until September 2026, with a theatrical release planned for the second half of 2027. Allu Arjun has reportedly dedicated his entire schedule to this project, considering it one of the most prestigious roles of his career.
Deepika’s Return to Sets Post-Motherhood
The source also shared that this will be one of Deepika’s first two projects post-motherhood, alongside her cameo in King. She is expected to juggle both projects toward the end of 2026.
Allu Arjun’s Power-Packed Slate
Fresh off the success of Pushpa 2: The Rule, Allu Arjun is riding high. He is also set to star in Trivikram Srinivas’s upcoming socio-mythological fantasy film and will return as Pushpa Raj in the highly anticipated Pushpa 3.
