Demi Lovato’s “It’s Not That Deep” Album: The Ultimate Dance-Pop Masterpiece You’ve Been Waiting For!

The Wait is Over! Demi Lovato's "It's Not That Deep" Album Brings the Heat with Infectious Dance-Pop Beats

Demi Lovato is stepping away from the emotional ballads and heading straight for the dancefloor. The pop star has officially announced her ninth studio album, It’s Not That Deep, set for release on October 24 via DLG Recordings/Island Records.

A New Era of Lightness and Fun

The album marks a fresh chapter in Lovato’s career, showcasing a return to upbeat, carefree pop. Fans have already gotten a taste of this new sound through two early singles—Fast and Here All Night. Both tracks hint at a vibrant, high-energy direction that’s all about fun and freedom.

“This music is a perfect reflection of where I’m at today,” Lovato shared. “Making this album with Zhone was such a freeing experience. I just wanted to let loose and enjoy myself.” The album, executive produced by Zhone, will feature 11 tracks designed for “late nights and dancefloors.”

From Healing to Celebration

Lovato’s past albums often explored pain, struggle, and recovery. But this time, she’s embracing joy. “With my past eras, I wrote about heavy topics I needed to process. But I’m not in that place anymore,” she said. “I’m happy, I’m in love, and I just want to have fun. It’s not that deep anymore—and that’s what this album is all about.”

More Than Music

Outside of music, Lovato is also active in film and publishing. She starred in the movie Tow, which premiered at the 2025 Tribeca Film Festival. She’s also gearing up to release her first cookbook, One Plate at a Time: Recipes for Finding Freedom With Food, arriving March 31, 2026.
