The world superstar thrilled audiences on September 9 as he stage-lit the stage with his popular songs “Boyfriend” and “MF Gabhru!” — the latter alongside Canadian producer Ikky.
Supported by a live band, energetic dancers, and striking visuals, Aujla brought his distinctive blend of Punjabi rhythms and global style to an international audience. Following his performance, the artist added even more allure by instructing Jimmy Fallon in bhangra steps, to the audience’s joy.
Aujla subsequently went on to social media to post a string of behind-the-scenes pictures from his Tonight Show debut. In the carousel, he’s posing confidently, sporting his fancy outfit and designer accessories. However, the post went viral on the internet with an unexpected cameo — a photo of Aujla standing backstage alongside international pop sensation Selena Gomez.
Selena appeared regal in a black satin gown and neat bun, with both stars flashing brilliant smiles at the camera. The photograph was an instant sensation. Comments streamed in as fans commented on being surprised, thrilled, and proud of the surprise crossover. One said, “Karan n Selena in one frame ????,” while another said, “That’s what dreams are made of.”
