Bollywood actress Sharvari has officially begun the shooting of her next big project, a film directed by the acclaimed filmmaker Imtiaz Ali and co-starring Vedang Raina. The moment was made even more special for the young star as it happened on the Dussehra day.
Sharvari shared to her social media a very warm and personal update, revealing that even though she couldn’t be home to celebrate Saraswati Puja, she made her own little ritual in her room. The actress shared a picture of her film script and a notebook decorated with newly picked hibiscus flowers and wrote, “Couldn’t be home for Saraswati Puja today, so I did my own little puja with the script in my room. Happy Dussehra! Vijay Dashmi ki Hardik Shubhkamnayein!”
The film was actually made known to the public earlier in June, coinciding with Sharvari’s birthday. Then, she had shared her happiness in a very touching note saying, “What an unbelievable surprise to witness the announcement on my birthday. Best birthday ever! Imtiaz Ali, Sir, I am so lucky that you are the one to direct me as I have always dreamt of becoming an actor.”
Besides, Sharvari expressed utmost gratitude to be on the team, calling it a “dream team” and looking forward to the learning experience.
The actress made her debut in 2021 with Bunty Aur Babli 2, where she had the main cast alongside Rani Mukerji, Saif Ali Khan, and Siddhant Chaturvedi. However, the film was met with a lukewarm response, but Sharvari’s presence on the screen and freshness were highly appreciated.
Imtiaz Ali’s film apart, Sharvari will also be seen in Alpha, opposite Alia Bhatt and Bobby Deol. With an exciting lineup ahead, fans are eagerly waiting to see her success in these promising roles.
