The actress posted a series of tender photos from a pregnancy shoot on Instagram, captioned: “It’s been quite the journey, but this Diwali feeling extra grateful for this light that is about to enter our lives.”

Born and raised in Saratoga, California, Richa graduated from UC Davis with a degree in communications and a minor in dramatic arts. Her cultural roots are deeply embedded—her father is Bhojpuri from Varanasi, and her mother is Kannadiga from Karnataka. Growing up, her family ran a Bollywood music band, nurturing her passion for the performing arts.
