Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni’s Reunion Turns Heads – Unexpected Twinning at Court

Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni reunite in court amid their legal battle, and fans can’t stop talking about their unexpected matching outfits.

Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni came face-to-face in a New York courtroom this week as their ongoing It Ends With Us legal battle continues to unfold. The court-ordered settlement conference marked the first time the former co-stars have appeared in person together since their dispute became public in December 2024.

The two actors arrived separately at the US District Court in Manhattan, 33 minutes apart. Lively was the first to enter, accompanied by her legal team. Observers noted that she appeared serious and focused as she made her way inside. Baldoni arrived shortly afterward, reportedly joined by his wife, Emily, and appeared calm as he entered the courthouse.

Despite the tense circumstances, social media quickly zeroed in on an unexpected detail: the pair appeared to be unintentionally color-coordinated. Both Lively and Baldoni wore soft pastel pink tops paired with green-toned coats and pants. The striking similarity sparked online chatter, with some users joking about the “courtroom twinning” moment and others wondering whether the coordination was purely coincidental.

The settlement conference itself was closed to the public and media. According to sources familiar with the proceedings, Lively and Baldoni spent most of the day in separate rooms while Magistrate Judge Sarah L. Cave moved between the two parties in an effort to facilitate potential resolution. Such conferences are common in federal civil cases and are designed to determine whether disputes can be settled before proceeding to trial. If no agreement is reached, the trial is currently scheduled for May 18.

Outside the courthouse, Baldoni’s attorney, Freedman, briefly addressed reporters, stating that both parties would return the following day for a “different matter on the docket.” He did not specify whether Lively or Baldoni would personally attend.

The legal conflict began when Lively filed a complaint with the California Civil Rights Department on December 20, 2024. She accused Baldoni of sexual harassment and retaliation during the filming of their 2024 romantic drama. On December 31, she filed a federal lawsuit and later submitted an amended complaint in February 2025, alleging a coordinated effort to harm her reputation. Baldoni filed a countersuit, but a federal judge dismissed the claim in June, formally closing it in November after no amendment was filed.

The controversy first gained public attention during the film’s press tour, when fans noticed apparent tension between the two stars. Despite the ongoing legal turmoil, It Ends With Us achieved major commercial success, grossing over $350 million worldwide.
