One of the most talked about upcoming Marathi films right now is Tumbbadchi Manjula. Produced by Zee Studios , the film has already created excitement among audiences with its posters, teaser and songs. Now, the makers have released a brand new track titled “Jhadan Dharlay Bhoot,” which is grabbing attention for its fun mix of horror, mystery and comedy.
The song has been sung by popular Marathi singer Avadhoot Gupte, who is loved by audiences for his energetic style and strong voice. Through this song, he brings together fear, suspense and humour in a very entertaining way. The song shows how villagers react when they believe that either a person or even a tree in the village has been possessed by a ghost. As rumours spread, the villagers come together and try different traditional methods like rituals, prayers and superstitious remedies to get rid of the spirit. This creates confusion, chaos and many funny moments that make the song highly entertaining.
The lyrics of the song are playful and catchy. One of the main lines asks whether the ghost has possessed the tree or if the tree itself has caught the ghost. This unusual idea has added curiosity among viewers and listeners. The tune of the song is equally lively and keeps the village atmosphere fun and engaging.
Speaking about the song, Avadhoot Gupte said that he had a great time singing it because it has both suspense and comedy. According to him, the song takes audiences directly into the heart of the village and makes them curious to know more about the strange events happening there. He also hinted that audiences will understand the full fun and mystery only after watching the film.
Business Head of Zee Studios Marathi, Bavesh Janavlekar, shared that Tumbadchi Manjula will be a complete entertainment package for audiences. He said the music is one of the strongest parts of the film and every song has a different style and mood. Earlier, the song “Asa Vegla Gaav” introduced audiences to the unique village setting through the voices of Rahul Deshpande and Arya Ambekar. Now, “Jhadan Dharlay Bhoot” gives viewers a closer look at the funny and unusual behaviour of the villagers.
The music for the song has been composed by the young trio Aseem Kurhekar, Pratik Kelkar and Tejas Joshi, while the lyrics are written by Vikram Edke. The film is written by Rishikesh Turai and directed by Vaibhav Koragaonkar. The movie features a strong cast including Jitendra Joshi, Sai Tamhankar, Om Bhutkar, Makarand Anaspure and many others. Tumbadchi Manjula is set to release on June 5 and fans are eagerly waiting to experience this mix of horror, comedy and village drama on the big screen.
