Trisha Krishnan is once again making headlines, this time because of her adorable reaction to a fan mentioning Tamil Nadu Chief Minister and actor Vijay. The actress recently visited Rohini Silver Screens in Chennai to watch the first show of her latest film Karuppu, which released in theatres on May 15 after facing a short delay due to financial issues.
After the screening, Trisha was seen leaving the theatre in her car while fans gathered around to greet her, click pictures and record videos. Dressed casually in a black T shirt and jeans, the actress looked relaxed and happy as she interacted with her admirers. However, one particular comment from a fan grabbed everyone’s attention and quickly went viral on social media.
In the now trending video, a fan can be heard telling Trisha, “Please tell Thalapathy I asked about him.” The fan was referring to Vijay, who is lovingly called Thalapathy by his fans. Hearing this, Trisha immediately started smiling and blushing. She softly replied, “Definitely,” before lowering her head shyly. Fans online quickly noticed that she could not stop smiling afterward and was even seen texting someone inside the car. Before leaving, she also waved at the crowd that continued cheering for her.

Rumours about Trisha Krishnan and Vijay have been making headlines for a long time now. Their names were once again linked strongly after Vijay became the Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu on May 10. Trisha attended the swearing in ceremony and caught everyone’s attention with her elegant teal and gold saree look. She was seen sitting in the front row along with Vijay’s parents, Shoba Chandrasekhar and S. A. Chandrasekhar. She also warmly greeted them during the event.
Later, Trisha shared a message on Instagram saying, “The love is always louder,” which many fans connected to the attention she received during the ceremony.
Both Vijay and Trisha have often stayed silent about the rumours surrounding them. Vijay was previously married to Sangeeta Sornalingam and they have two children together. Reports about their separation became public earlier this year. Soon after that, Vijay and Trisha were spotted attending a wedding reception in Chennai wearing matching gold coloured outfits, which further fueled speculation online.
On the work front, Trisha Krishnan had a busy year with films like Identity, Vidaamuyarchi, Good Bad Ugly and Thug Life. She will next be seen in Vishwambhara and the Malayalam film Ram.
