Amol Parashar’s Mission Gets Harder In Gram Chikitsalay Season 2 Trailer

The Gram Chikitsalay Season 2 trailer follows Dr Prabhat's efforts to improve healthcare in Bhathkandi while facing new obstacles and rivals.

The trailer for the second season of Gram Chikitsalay has been released, offering a glimpse into the next chapter of Dr Prabhat Sinha’s journey in the village of Bhathkandi. The comedy drama series returns with Amol Parashar reprising his role as the dedicated doctor who continues working to improve healthcare services in the rural community.

The 2 minute 31 second trailer highlights Dr Prabhat’s determination to provide better medical care to the villagers. This season, he sets his sights on earning the title of an Ideal PHC, or Primary Health Centre, for the health facility in Bhathkandi. He believes that receiving this recognition will help the centre obtain the medicines, equipment, and resources it needs to serve patients more effectively.

However, achieving that goal proves far from easy. The trailer shows Dr Prabhat dealing with several challenges, including unusual patients, limited medical supplies, and shortages of government provided medicines. These difficulties make it harder for him to deliver the level of care he hopes to provide.

The new season also introduces additional obstacles outside the health centre. A private doctor operating in the village sees Gram Chikitsalay as a threat to his own practice and attempts to create problems for the facility. At the same time, local political issues add further complications to Dr Prabhat’s mission. The combination of professional rivalry, politics, and limited resources creates a difficult environment for the doctor as he works toward improving healthcare in the village.

The trailer also features a brief appearance by Bhojpuri star Khesari Lal. Alongside him, several familiar faces return to the series. Actors Ashok Pathak and Durgesh, who are known to many viewers from Panchayat, continue their roles. Akash Makhija, Anandeshwar Dwivedi, Vinay Pathak, Akansha Ranjan Kapoor, and Garima Vikrant Singh are also returning for the new season.

Directed by Rahul Pandey and produced by TVF, the series was created by Arunabh Kumar and Deepak Kumar Mishra, the team behind Panchayat. In the first season, Dr Prabhat worked hard to gain the trust of villagers who often relied on unqualified practitioners instead of modern medicine. He also faced corruption, bureaucratic challenges, and personal struggles while helping a young boy dealing with mental health issues.

Gram Chikitsalay received praise from many viewers for its realistic storytelling, humour, and emotional moments. Season 2 will continue Dr Prabhat’s efforts to bring positive change to Bhathkandi when the series premieres on June 23 exclusively on Prime Video.
