Salman Khan Shot Sikandar in Pain After Baba Siddique’s Death, Co Star Reveals Shocking Details

Salman Khan continued shooting Sikandar despite a painful injury, security threats, and the emotional shock of losing close friend Baba Siddique.

Salman Khan went through one of the most difficult periods of his life while filming Sikandar. The actor was dealing with both emotional and physical challenges after the tragic death of his close friend and politician Baba Siddique in October 2024. At the same time, Salman was also recovering from a painful rib injury. Despite these hardships, he continued showing up on set and completed his work, earning praise from his co stars and crew members.

Actor Vishal Vashishtha, who worked with Salman in Sikandar, recently spoke about the superstar’s determination during an interview Free Press Journal. According to Vishal, Salman was emotionally exhausted and physically struggling, but he never stopped working. He said everyone on set could see that the actor was in genuine pain. Salman would slowly walk to perform his scenes and complete his work. As soon as the director called for a cut, he would return to get physiotherapy treatment before preparing for the next shot.

Vishal shared that Salman needed constant treatment because he had several action scenes to perform. Even though he was hurting, he stayed committed to the film. The actor also revealed that Salman continued coming to work every day despite the difficult situation in his personal life. This dedication left a strong impression on everyone around him. Vishal said that the cast and crew often had to wait for long hours, but they understood the pressure Salman was facing and supported him throughout the shoot.

The actor further explained that some action sequences were postponed to give Salman more time to recover from his injury. He recalled that even simple movements such as getting up from a chair or sitting down were challenging for Salman during certain parts of the shoot. However, by the final days of filming, his condition had improved somewhat.

Apart from his injury, Salman was also dealing with increased security concerns following Baba Siddique’s murder. The politician was shot dead outside his son Zeeshan Siddique’s office in Mumbai in October 2024. Reports later suggested that the accused had links to the Lawrence Bishnoi gang. During the investigation, it was claimed that Salman Khan had also been on the gang’s target list, but his tight security made it difficult to reach him.

Following the incident, Salman reportedly received fresh death threats and was given Y+ security cover. Despite the emotional loss, security concerns, and ongoing health issues, the actor continued working on Sikandar, showing remarkable dedication during one of the toughest phases of his life.
