Hollywood star Jason Momoa has showered praise on his Street Fighter co star Vidyut Jammwal, calling him one of the most handsome and talented actors he has ever met. The Aquaman actor recently spoke about working with Vidyut and had nothing but positive things to say about the Indian star, who is all set to make his Hollywood debut with the upcoming film.
During an interview with Zoom, Jason was asked about his experience of working with Vidyut in Street Fighter. The actor immediately praised his co star and said that Vidyut is one of the most beautiful looking men he has ever seen. Jason also spoke highly of Vidyut’s acting skills, talent and screen presence, saying that he was truly impressed by him.
The Hollywood star then made a light hearted request. Jason joked that Vidyut should help him get a role in a Bollywood movie. He said that the two should work together on an Indian film someday because it would be a lot of fun. Jason also expressed his excitement about visiting India in the future and said he is looking forward to coming here one day.
Street Fighter is an important project for Vidyut Jammwal as it marks his first major Hollywood film. In the movie, he plays Dhalsim, one of the most popular characters from the famous video game series. Vidyut’s first look from the film received a lot of attention from fans. He appears completely transformed with a shaved head, red markings on his scalp and a powerful new look that makes him almost unrecognisable.
His character is dressed in rugged orange clothing along with metal accessories that give Dhalsim a strong and mystical appearance. Fans have praised the effort put into bringing the iconic character to life on the big screen.
The film features a large ensemble cast that includes Noah Centineo, Callina Liang, Cody Rhodes, 50 Cent, Roman Reigns, David Dastmalchian and several other well known names. Jason Momoa plays Blanka, while Vidyut takes on the role of Dhalsim.
According to the official story, the film follows Ryu and Ken, two fighters who are drawn into a dangerous tournament after being recruited by Chun Li. As they prepare for battle, they uncover a larger conspiracy that forces them to confront both powerful enemies and their own pasts.
Directed by Kitao Sakurai, Street Fighter is produced by Legendary in partnership with Capcom and will be distributed by Paramount Pictures. The highly anticipated action film is scheduled to release in theatres on October 16 and is expected to attract fans of the popular gaming franchise around the world.
