Main Vaapas Aaunga Surprises Everyone With Massive Second Friday Jump

"Main Vaapas Aaunga" recorded strong growth on its second Friday, earning Rs. 2 crore nett and showing positive momentum at the box office.

Main Vaapas Aaunga” has shown a strong improvement at the box office during its second week. The film collected approximately Rs. 2 crore nett on its second Friday, registering a 75 per cent increase compared to its opening day collection from the previous week. Despite the encouraging growth, the film faced a challenge due to a reduction in the number of shows during its second weekend. Considering the steady rise in collections throughout the weekdays, many expected the film to receive additional screenings. However, the number of shows was reportedly reduced by almost half compared to the first week.

This reduction created capacity issues, especially during prime time screenings in major cities. As audience demand increased, available seats became limited, affecting the film’s ability to convert strong occupancy into even higher box office numbers.

Although the number of shows increased slightly on Saturday, it still remained lower than the level seen during the first week. Advance bookings indicated high occupancy rates, suggesting that many screenings were expected to run with strong attendance. Industry observers believe that the positive audience response could lead to more screenings in the coming days, helping the film maintain momentum during the weekdays and beyond.

After eight days in theatres, the film’s total collection stands at approximately Rs. 14.50 crore nett. Based on current trends, the movie is expected to collect around Rs. 4 crore nett on Saturday. If collections continue to grow on Sunday, the total could reach between Rs. 23 crore and Rs. 24 crore nett by the end of the weekend.

The film’s current performance marks a significant improvement compared to last Friday, when even a Rs. 10 crore lifetime total appeared difficult to achieve. While there is still a long way to go, the latest box office trend has improved its prospects considerably and created a more positive outlook for the coming weeks.
