Jennifer Lopez Celebrates Max And Oskar’s Graduation With Heartfelt Post

Jennifer Lopez shared emotional photos from Max and Oskar's graduation, celebrating the special milestone and opening up about watching her children grow up.

Jennifer Lopez shared an emotional family moment with fans after her twins, Max and Emme, who now goes by the name Oskar, graduated from high school. The singer and actress posted a series of photos on Instagram on Thursday, giving a glimpse into the celebrations and expressing how proud she is of her children as they begin a new chapter in life.

One of the photos showed Lopez hugging her son Max, 18, with her eyes closed while gently holding his face. Another picture featured 18 year old Oskar smiling in a graduation gown while sitting in front of a sign that read, “Class of 2026.” Lopez also shared a close up of Oskar’s graduation cap, which had the words, “Not my first rodeo,” written on it. The post also included a photo of graduation themed cupcakes.

Along with the pictures, Lopez wrote, “They say I got lucky… and I don’t disagree… Just this feeling.”

Earlier this month, Lopez attended separate graduation ceremonies for both of her children. During Max’s ceremony, she was seen becoming emotional and wiping away tears while watching him receive his diploma. Another photo from the event showed her giving Max a warm hug after the ceremony. Lopez was joined by her parents, Guadalupe Rodríguez and David Lopez, her longtime manager Benny Medina, and Oskar.

Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony, 57, got married in 2004 and welcomed their twins in 2008. The couple divorced in 2014 but continue to share parenting responsibilities. Marc Anthony was not seen at either graduation ceremony.

In May, Lopez and her family also attended Oskar’s graduation. Ben Affleck’s son Samuel, 14, was present to support his former step sibling during the celebration.

After Oskar’s graduation, it became known that Jennifer’s child is now using the name Oskar. A March Instagram post announcing where graduating students would be attending college listed the name “Oskar Muñiz” alongside a childhood photo and tagged Oskar’s Instagram account.

Oskar is set to study theater and visual arts at Sarah Lawrence College. Max has not publicly shared where he plans to continue his education.

Speaking on “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” in May, Lopez admitted she has been emotional about her children growing up. She said, “They’re going to realize that their dorms are too small and they’re going to miss home. I hope they’ll want to come back real soon. That’s my plan.”

She also shared her hopes for their future, saying the next chapter will be “great” because “they have big dreams.” While Lopez is finding it difficult to see her children leave home, she has said she wants them to be happy and follow the paths they choose for themselves.
