The actress was interacting with students at JECRC University in Rajasthan when an unexpected comment from the audience turned into one of the most talked about moments of the event. During the interaction, a student asked Alia how she and her team agreed to appear on India’s Got Latent, a show known for its raw and unfiltered style. As the question was being asked, another person from the audience shouted, “Paisa,” suggesting that money was the reason behind her appearance on the show. Instead of getting upset, Alia laughed and immediately replied, “Kisne bola ye, kisi gareeb aadmi ne,” which means, “Who said that, probably some broke person.” Her reply left the audience cheering and laughing, and the video soon spread across social media.

During one segment, Samay Raina asked a contestant what girls like the most in men. Someone from the audience shouted, “Paisa.” Alia immediately wanted to know who had made the comment, and Samay quickly responded by saying, “Kisi gareeb aadmi ne.” His witty reply was widely praised because it shut down a sexist remark without creating unnecessary drama.
