The romantic drama collected an estimated ₹1.20 crore on its third Thursday, taking its third week total to around ₹16.45 crore. The film had earlier earned ₹11.50 crore in its opening week and ₹21.25 crore in its second week.
The movie has managed to maintain a steady performance at the box office. According to trade reports, its collections dropped by around 25 per cent in the third week compared to the second week. This came despite sharing screens with Welcome To The Jungle, making the film’s performance noteworthy.
With three successful weeks completed, Main Vaapas Aaunga has now entered its fourth week in theatres. However, the film is expected to face fresh competition from Alpha, which has also arrived in cinemas. The coming days will be important in deciding how well the film continues to perform.
Trade analysts believe the fourth weekend will play a key role in determining the film’s final box office collection. If the movie continues to attract audiences, it could finish its theatrical run in the ₹65 crore to ₹70 crore range in India. During the third week, it earned ₹2.65 crore on Friday, ₹4.10 crore on Saturday, ₹4.25 crore on Sunday, ₹1.35 crore on Monday, ₹1.65 crore on Tuesday, ₹1.25 crore on Wednesday and an estimated ₹1.20 crore on Thursday. This takes the total India nett collection of Main Vaapas Aaunga to ₹49.20 crore after three weeks in theatres. The film’s performance in the coming weeks will determine where it finishes its overall box office run.
