Margot Robbie Enjoys Shopping Day With Her Mother Ahead Of Big Film Project

Margot Robbie was spotted shopping with her mother in Paris before beginning work on the Ocean's Eleven prequel, which is set for release in 2027.

Margot Robbie recently spent some quality time with her mother, Sarie Kessler, during a shopping trip in Paris, France. The actor was seen enjoying a relaxed afternoon with her mother on July 25, taking a break before beginning work on her next major film project. For the outing, Margot wore a yellow silk outfit, paired with black flats and a black bucket hat, keeping her look simple and stylish.

Margot has been staying in Paris for the past few weeks. Earlier this month, she was also spotted enjoying an early dinner date with her husband, Tom Ackerley. While she has been making the most of her time in the French capital, she is expected to begin production on her next film very soon.

The actor is set to star in the upcoming Ocean’s Eleven prequel alongside Bradley Cooper, Wagner Moura, Monica Barbaro and Josh Gad. Bradley Cooper is not only acting in the film but is also directing and writing the project. Although the makers have not revealed many details about the story, Margot recently shared a few important hints during the 2026 CinemaCon presentation.

Speaking about the film, Margot said, “Before Danny Ocean ever stepped foot in Vegas, two masterminds taught him everything he knows — his parents.” Her statement refers to Danny Ocean, the central character from the original 1960 film Ocean’s 11, which starred Frank Sinatra, Sammy Davis Jr., Joey Bishop, Peter Lawford and Dean Martin.

She also revealed where the story will take place, saying, “You’ll see them in their prime, and in our new movie, pulling off an epic heist at the 1962 Monaco Grand Prix.” While the full storyline remains under wraps, these comments suggest that the prequel will explore the early history of Danny Ocean’s family and feature a large scale robbery set against the famous motor racing event.

The Ocean’s Eleven prequel is currently scheduled to be released in theatres on June 25, 2027. Fans are waiting to see how the film expands the well known franchise with a fresh story and new characters while still connecting to the classic movies.

Apart from this project, there has also been a recent update on the planned Monopoly movie, which is being developed by LuckyChap Entertainment, the production company co founded by Margot Robbie. While details about that film are still limited, it remains one of the future projects associated with the Oscar nominated actor and producer.
