The announcement was shared by film trade analyst Taran Adarsh on social media. He revealed that Do Numbari is sung, written and composed by Dhanda Nyoliwala. The high energy track aims to capture the raw attitude and powerful style that fans associate with the Mirzapur universe.
The film is directed by Gurmmeet Singh, who brings the hugely successful web series to the big screen. Mirzapur The Movie will reunite audiences with some of the franchise’s most loved characters. Pankaj Tripathi returns as the feared Kaleen Bhaiya, while Ali Fazal is back as Guddu Pandit. Divyenndu also returns as the fan favourite Munna Tripathi, a character that became one of the biggest highlights of the original series. Ravi Kishan will also be seen in an important role, adding more star power to the film.
The movie is being produced by Ritesh Sidhwani and Farhan Akhtar, with Kassim Jagmagia and Vishal Ramchandani serving as co producers. The screenplay has been written by Puneet Krishna, who has played a key role in shaping the world of Mirzapur since its beginning.
Another major highlight is that Mirzapur The Movie will release in both Hindi and Telugu, allowing the action packed crime drama to reach a wider audience across India. With its popular characters, gripping storyline and loyal fan following, the film is expected to be one of the most anticipated theatrical releases of the year.
The release of Do Numbari has successfully kicked off the film’s promotional campaign, giving fans a glimpse of the energy and intensity they can expect. With the trailer arriving on August 11 and the big screen release set for September 4, the countdown has officially begun for the return of the iconic world of Mirzapur.
