According to trade estimates, the film is expected to finish its second week with around Rs. 51.50 crore gross. The movie has managed to stay stable during weekdays, which is considered a positive sign for its long theatrical run. Based on current trends, the film is likely to see a jump in collections during its third weekend.
At present, Michael is expected to finish its overall theatrical run in India at around Rs. 75 crore gross. This is being seen as a strong performance for a Hollywood music based film in the Indian market.
With these numbers, Michael has now emerged as a HIT release in India. It also becomes the third successful Hollywood film of the year after Project Hail Mary and The Mummy. Interestingly, all three films were released within a gap of nearly one month.
Another recent Hollywood release, The Devil Wears Prada 2, is also performing well at the Indian box office. While trade experts believe it may not become a major HIT, it is still expected to complete a successful run.

On 2nd Monday, the movie earned Rs. 1.75 crore, followed by Rs. 2.00 crore on 2nd Tuesday and Rs. 1.75 crore on 2nd Wednesday.
The total collection currently stands at Rs. 50.25 crore.
