Spider Man Brand New Day Box Office: Tom Holland Starrer Sees 23 Per Cent Spike On 3rd Tuesday

Spider Man Brand New Day collected Rs. 2.85 crore gross on its 3rd Tuesday, taking its India gross to Rs. 550.15 crore and 3D gross to Rs. 605 crore.

Spider Man: Brand New Day continued its strong run at the Indian box office on its third Tuesday. The Tom Holland starrer collected Rs. 2.85 crore gross, which equals Rs. 2.35 crore nett, recording a 23 per cent increase compared with the previous day. With this collection, the film’s third week total has reached Rs. 32.65 crore gross in five days.

The superhero action film is expected to finish its third week at around Rs. 37 crore. However, its overall performance remains much more significant, as the movie has already crossed the Rs. 550.15 crore gross mark in India. Its nett collection currently stands at Rs. 454.50 crore.

When the collections from 3D screenings are included, the film’s actual gross total has reached Rs. 605 crore. Its performance over the next few weeks will determine how much further it can go at the Indian box office.

Spider Man: Brand New Day has already emerged as an all time blockbuster in India. The film is among a select group of Hollywood movies that have reached this level, with other major titles including Titanic, Avatar, The Jungle Book, Avengers: Infinity War, Avengers: Endgame and Avatar: The Way of Water.

Other films that could potentially be considered in the same category include Spider Man 3, 2012 and Furious 7. The exact classification can vary depending on the box office benchmarks being used.

The Tom Holland starrer is also getting closer to another major milestone. The film could potentially reach 2 crore footfalls in India. So far, only Titanic and Avengers: Endgame have crossed that mark. Brand New Day is currently the third most watched Hollywood film in India, with around 1.9 crore footfalls.

The film collected Rs. 323.25 crore nett and Rs. 391.50 crore gross during its first week, with the gross including 3D standing at Rs. 429.50 crore. Its second week added Rs. 104.00 crore nett and Rs. 126.00 crore gross, while the gross including 3D reached Rs. 139.00 crore.

In its third week, the film collected Rs. 3.75 crore nett and Rs. 4.50 crore gross on Friday, followed by Rs. 10.00 crore nett and Rs. 12.00 crore gross on Saturday. Sunday added Rs. 9.25 crore nett and Rs. 11.00 crore gross. Monday brought in Rs. 1.90 crore nett and Rs. 2.30 crore gross, while Tuesday added Rs. 2.35 crore nett and Rs. 2.85 crore gross.

The total currently stands at Rs. 454.50 crore nett, Rs. 550.15 crore gross and Rs. 605.00 crore gross including 3D.
